Come visit with Bobby Hansen as he shares details of his great basketball career with the University of Iowa and 9 seasons in the NBA with the Utah Jazz and Chicago Bulls! A Dowling High School state basketball champion and graduate in 1979, Bobby played on Lute Olsen’s Final Four team at Iowa in 1980 and was All-Big Ten for three years in 1981-1983. He was drafted by the Utah Jazz in 1983 where he played until joining Michael Jordan and the Chicago Bulls in 1991 where he helped the Bulls win their second consecutive World Championship. Currently, Bobby is the radio color analyst for Hawkeye Men’s Basketball and works with the Iowa Speedway in the area of business development.
Bobby will be signing autographs and providing a basketball fundamentals clinic for the youth during the Friday pre-tournament event and will also be participating in the tournament on Saturday.
